INGREDIENTS<br /><br />-Ground Lamb (can sub beef or pork)<br /><br /><br />-1 onion<br /><br />-5 cloves of garlic <br /><br />-1/2 cucumber<br /><br />-1 cup greek yogurt<br /><br />-Fresh Mint <br /><br />-1 tomato<br /><br />-Cumin & marjoram (if readily available, don't go out of your way to get)<br /><br />-Pita bread<br /><br />METHOD<br /><br />-Place whole onion in food processor or blender (if neither are available finely dice by hand)<br /><br />-Drain off liquid from ground onion and add ground lamb, or beef to the food processor/blender w/ one glove of garlic<br /><br />-Mix until combined (again this can all be done by hand but it will take a bit longer)<br /><br />-Form mix into long patties<br /><br />-Place pan on med-high heat w/ a swing of olive oil and cook lamb patties for around 5 mins<br /><br />-While lamb is cooking make your tzatziki sauce<br /><br />-Peel and finley grate 1/2 a cucumber into greek yogurt<br /><br />-Finely mince 3-4 cloves of garlic, add slat and cush with knife until you've formed a paste<br /><br />-Add garlic paste to yogurt and cucumber<br /><br />-Finely chop mint & add to yogurt mixture<br /><br />-Stir until combined<br /><br />-Place lamb on warm pita w/ lettuce<br /><br />-Drizzle over sauce & top with fresh tomato<br /><br />-Eat<br /><br />
